Alvin Ellsworth Fosnaugh, 99, of Amanda, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home. He was born December 13, 1917 in Amanda and was the son of the late Emanuel and Lily (Campbell) Fosnaugh. Alvin attended Amanda United Methodist Church and retired from Bent Bolt.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Julian of Amanda and JoAnn Grubb of Columbus; grandchildren, Rick (Karen) Julian, Donald (Kathleen) Drum and Jewel Drum all of Columbus; great grandchildren, Bobby Jo (Joe) Ottjepka, Darcie Drum and Shane (Alli) Julian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; son-in-law, Gary Julian; grandson, Rex Julian; three brothers and four sisters.
A grave side service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Amanda Twp. Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
