Arleta Mae Miller

March 15, 1922 — August 18, 2017

Arleta M. Miller, 95, of Circleville, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.  She was born March 15, 1922 in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Hizey) Amspaugh.  Arleta was retired from GE after 27 years of service.   She was formerly a long time member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Stoutsville and attended Circleville First Church CCU.
Arleta is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Edward) Compton and a son-in-law, Terry Imler both of Circleville; five grandchildren, Cathy (Dave) Holbrook of Stoutsville, Denny (Sharon) Compton of Circleville, Kelly (Jackie) Compton of Amanda, Christine (Kevin) Pennington and Harold (Gail) Imler both of Circleville; 9 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Danny (Gladys) Amspaugh of Duncan Falls and Roger (Phyllis) Amspaugh of Lancaster; sister, Eileen Miller of Baltimore; sister-in-law, Connie Amspaugh of Frazeysburg and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Miller; daughter, Frances Imler; brothers, Paul and Herbie Amspaugh and sisters, Edith Garrett, Juanita Archer and Ruth Roley.
A grave side service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville with Mike Miller officiating.  The Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda have been trusted with the arrangements.
