Arthur "Duke" Artrip

Arthur A. "Duke" Artrip, age 86, of Circleville, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Mt. Carmel Grove City. He was born December 27, 1939, in Circleville, to the late Walter and Gertrude (Brown) Artrip. He was an active and dedicated member of Sugar Run Community Church. He enjoyed yard sales, going to auctions, family get togethers and he especially loved to eat.

He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Edler, Debra Bourcier, and Ann (Philip) Cook, all of Circleville, and Lisa (Malcolm) Leasure, of Chillcothe; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Teresa Tunstal, of Columbus; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ida (Johnson) Artrip; five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda, with Pastor Stanley Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
