Barbara J. Johnson

Barbara J. Johnson, 77, of Amanda, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born March 10, 1941 in Fairfield County to the late Beeman and Ruby (Peterson) Morrison. 
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Billy) Wampler of Stoutsville, Vickie Smith of Lancaster, George (Brenda) Johnson, Jr. of Amanda, Tina (Danny) Cornwell of Mt. Perry, Jeff (Christina) Johnson of Amanda, Tammy (James) Fletcher of Bladensburg, and Crystal (Jeremy) Majors of Amanda, 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Johnson Sr., son-in-law Damon Smith, and a brother and a sister. 
Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
