Barbara R. White

Barbara Rose White, 70, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday,  May 20, 2014 at the Pickering House.  She was born July 18, 1943 in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Jay and Hilda (Brown) McKenzie.  
She is survived by her husband, William A. White; daughter, Cindy Evans of Lancaster; step children, Connie (Paul) Karl of Baltimore, Tony (Nancy) White of Ashville and John D. White of Missouri; grandchildren, April (Tony) Shackleford, Brandon Adair and fiancé Jenna, Sheila (Shawn) Hill; step grandchildren, Jesse (Becky) Hendershot, Tracy (Jamie) Hunt, Carla (Mike) Stacy, Kelly (Danny) Conner, Jeremy White; great grandchildren, Becka and Caleb Shackleford; step great grandchildren, Emily, Collin and Matthew Hendershot; many aunts and uncles including Phyllis McKenzie and Bonnie Azbell.  She is also survived by a special friend, Kim Davis.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Dreama Lynette Pierce.
Loving cremation was handled by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Royalton Community Church with Rev. Hoover Horn and Rev. Larry Horn officiating.
