Betty Branham

Betty J. Branham, 84, of Stoutsville, passed away Sunday evening, March 11, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born on August 9, 1933 in Ousley, Kentucky to the late Elkana and Louisa (Meade) Spears. Betty graduated from Wheelwright High School in KY, and was the manager at Sharff’s in Lancaster for over 15 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Goble Branham; children, Beverly and Vince Dugar of Golden, CO, Mike Branham of Circleville, Karen and Tony Hartley of Circleville, and John and Jeannette Branham of Stoutsville; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mae Spears; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a grandchild, Anne Dugar; brothers, Jeff and Cecil; and sisters, Margie, Omadell, and Stella
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Betty’s nephew, Richard Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215 in Betty’s memory.
