Betty E. Wampler

Betty E. Wampler, 83, of Stoutsville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Berger Hospital. She was born January 31, 1932 in South Portsmouth, KY to the late Jesse and Bessie (Parker) Roe.  Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ray Wampler; children, Jerry (Francis) Wampler, Bill (Cindy) Wampler, and Lucy (Bud) Cordle all of Stoutsville; grandchildren, Tyler Cordle, Cody (Cassie) Cordle, Billy (Erica) Wampler, Lisa Wampler, Kellie (Tom Rowland) Wampler, Kathy (Jeff Devanny) Wampler and Jeanette (David) Zibolsky; 15 great grandchildren; special sister-in-law Naomi Wampler and her children, Vickie, Donna, and Bev.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Boyd Warner officiating. Burial to follow in Franklin Hills cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
