Bonnie C. Miller

Bonnie C. Miller, age 86 of Lancaster, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at her home. She was born April 25, 1936, the daughter of the late George and Thelma (Thomas) Brewer. She had a 40 year career at Haning's Plumbing and Heating in Lancaster. For several years, she served as a Tour Guide at Bo-Kay Woods Candle Shop. Bonnie was a member of the American Business Women's Association. She was in a group of friends and neighbors who all played the Dulcimer. She was an avid hiker and a volunteer for 10 years at Clearcreek Metro Park. Bonnie loved all animals and rescued many cats over the years. She was also President of the Andy Williams Fan Club.

 

She is survived by her children, Chris (Joe) Downar, of Columbus and Andy Miller, of Lancaster; grandson, Joey (fiancee Michelle Ford) Downar, of Columbus and several nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Brewer.

 

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 West Main St., Amanda. Cremation has been arranged in the care of the funeral home.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any organization that supports nature or animal welfare.
