Bruce A. Stump

Bruce A. Stump, 62, of New Lexington, Ohio, formerly of Amanda, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.  He was born October 9, 1955 in Pickaway County.  Bruce  was employed by Millwright Local #1090 in Columbus
He is survived by his children, Shawn (Nenyah) Stump of Lancaster, Krista (Lincoln) Rhymer of Amanda and Tara (George) Abbott of Laurelville; father, Pat (Mary) Stump of Lancaster; mother, Betty (Merl) Jarrell of Circleville; six grandchildren, Alexandrea, Shayne, Kennedy, Kansas, Laine and Kody; companion, Nancy Spears of New Lexington; 5 brothers and sisters, Rod (Joan) Stump of Circleville, Bev (Ron) Cheadle of Stoutsville, Carla (Jeff) Ayers of Lancaster, Robin (Fred) Beaver of Circleville; Vickie (Carl) Moore of Ashville and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by the mother of his children, Connie Parrish of Lancaster.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer (Mamie) Payne and Carl (Fanchion) Stump and his beloved dog, Cana.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Mike Elkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday and from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
