Camron E. S. Drake, age 27 of Stoutsville passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center after a car accident. He was born July 29, 1995, in Lancaster, the son of Chad and Nikki (Stebleton) Drake, of Lancaster. He was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, class of 2013. He was currently employed at American Boring in Pickerington, where he had worked for almost 10 years. Camron enjoyed being with his family and just hanging out with his friends. He loved playing cards, video games, and riding his quad. He was good at finding broken things and fixing them. He enjoyed being outdoors and everything nature had to offer and collecting different items - especially rocks of ANY size. Camron was a devoted fiancée, father, son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend, a genuine family man. He took pride in every aspect of his life, most of all, of being a dad.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia; his parents, Chad and Nikki Drake, of Lancaster; fiancée, Mariah Arledge, of Stoutsville; sister, Natalie Drake, of Lancaster; grandparents, Darin Stebleton, of Sugar Grove, and Kenny and Dotty Drake, of Lancaster; uncles, Scotty (Nikki) Drake, of Stoutsville, Ed (Jenn) Stebleton III, of Nelsonville, and Justin Stebleton, of Sugar Grove; cousins, Mikaila (John) Miller, Sonny (Connor) Sobey, Samantha (Willis) Fugitt, Kaycee and Cain Stebleton; his fiancée, Mariah's family, Nora Kline and Ed Bachmann, Blaze and Jazmine Arledge, Jayne and Jerry Darfus, and Pam Arledge; Camron was also survived by Shannan, Josh, Michael, Madison, and Mikey Hill. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Archie and Alexandra Elliott, Albert and Opal Drake, Wayne and Patricia Sherburn, and Edward and Ruth Stebleton; papaw, Edward Stebleton Jr.
A service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to any organization that supports animal welfare.
