Candace Kay “Candy” Scarberry, age 70 of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born August 22, 1951, in Columbus, daughter of the late William and Betty (Garrison) Suver. She was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School, class of 1969. Candy was a member of the Real Church in Pickerington. She loved her family, quilting, crafting, snowmen, board games, and making everyone else happy. Most importantly, Candy was a Christian and had an eternal bond to Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Fred Scarberry; children, Julie (Michael) Emerson, of Indianapolis, IN and Brad (Karen) Scarberry, of Etna; granddaughter, Kennedy Richards; great granddaughter, Alivia Watson; brothers, Steve Suver, of Gallipolis and Mark (Santa) Suver, of Crown City; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at REAL Church, 5780 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd NW, Pickerington, OH 43147 at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021.
