Catherine “Cathy†I. Osmer, age 46, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly June 6, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born January 21, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles Bailes and Edith (Bowlby) Miller who survives.
In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her children, Gary (Alyssa) Hoffman, Kimberly Carson, Edward Hoffman, and Kayla Hoffman; sisters and brothers, Priscilla (Dan) Freeman, Ada Gambill, and Ed Bailes; step-father, Charles Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Barney Bailes. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Bobby Iser officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Baltimore. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
The family request memorial contributions to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
