Clara Rhymer

January 6, 1930 — March 16, 2015

Clara E. Rhymer, 85, of Amanda, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Rockmill Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 6, 1930 in Lancaster and was the daughter of Charles and Orpha (Devault) King.
Clara is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 67 years, Merle Rhymer; children, Judy (Roger) Guisinger of Bremen, Sue (Don) Simpson and Rod Rhymer (Susan) both of Amanda; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Charles King of Lancaster; sisters, Iva Mae Snider and Louise (Bob) Hill both of Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russell King and three sisters, Betty Snyder, Mary Ankrom and Ruth Noble.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Terry Borah officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville.  Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like contributions made to the Alzheimers Association in Clara’s memory.
