Please accept my heartfelt condolence in the loss of Doug.  I met him for the first time about 11 years ago when Gary and I purchased a second  home in Baltimore.  Dad scheduled him immediately to begin remodeling for us.  He was a fine man and a good carpenter.  My heart goes out to you, the family.

Scott and Stephanie,
Sorry about the sudden loss of your father.  I had talked to him a few times, usually at a sports event.  He was always supportive and friendly.  I did not know him well but I always feel that you probably see some of the parents through their kids.  So, I automatically liked him because of the two of you.
God bless you and your family as you move through your grief.

chuck and I were so sorry to hear of doug's passing. we've known doug for over 25 years, we were neighbors in stoutsville. in all those years we never ran into him that he didn't stop and say a few words and ask about our kids, he always seemed to be a very kind and gentle man. we're sure that his family and friends will miss him deeply. you have our prayers and our deepest sympathy, may God's love surround and comfort you all in the days and months to come.
