Darrell Estell

     Darrell Estell, 77, of Amanda, passed away at his residence on Friday, April 18, 2014.  He was born on May 2, 1936 in Pickaway County and was the son of the late Dano and Mary Louise (Beery) Estell.  Darrell was an Air National Guard veteran and served in the 121st Supply Squadron at Rickenbacker AFB, member of the American Legion Post #57 in Amanda and was a farmer in the Amanda area for many years.
    He is survived by his children, Crystal (Garry) Garcia of Lancaster, Victor (Patty) Estell of Amanda, Gary Estell and fiancé Tammie Clark of Xenia and Larry (Victoria) Estell of Logan; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Brent (Shirlee) Estell of Amanda; cousins, Todd (Denise) Beery of Bremen and Phil (Helen) Thompson of Kingston.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Estell and a nephew Cory Estell.
    Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Pastor Terry Borah officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Kingston with military honors.   Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
