David Vance Crites

David Vance Crites, 32, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Pickering House.  He was born May 8, 1985 in Lancaster and was the son of Willison and Tracy (Mettler) Crites who survive.  David was a 2004 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Service Administration at Ohio University.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Katlyn (O’Ryan) Crites; two brothers, Thomas and Cassius Crites both of Lancaster; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Rhonda O’Ryan of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Cristi (Ramone) Ridge of Grove City and Rachel (Jon) Schneider of Lancaster and a niece Myla Schneider.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
A funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Otis Tate officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
