David A. Luck

David A. Luck, age 78, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1943 in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of Edwin G. and Lucille (Warner) Luck. He was a mechanic in the glass industry for 36 years of which 33 of those years were with Anchor Hocking. He enjoyed farming Angus Cattle with his son Ron and spending time with the family. David was a life long member of the Methodist Church. Traveling with his wife, Marie, was his pastime passion.

David is survived by his wife of 56 years Marie (Snyder) Luck of Stoutsville, Ohio; children Ron (Kristie) Luck, Becky Luck, Robin (R.G.) Graham, Mark (fiance Missy) Luck; grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Richie, Michael, Brianna, Amie, and James Eric; great grandchildren, Logan, Haydon, Makaylee, Teigon, A.J., and Sawyer; sisters-in-law, Kay Luck, Judy Luck, and Dianne (Harry King) Queen; brothers-in-law, Bud Snyder and Jerry (Nancy) Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank "Sonny" Luck, Carl "Bill" Luck, Richard Luck, and sister Mae Evelyn "Sister" Woodward; grandson, Cody Luck; granddaughter, Keshia Marie Ellis; and great-granddaughter, Brianne Holbrook.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery with military honors. Family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the Pine Grove Methodist Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
