Donald G. âKatâ Julian, 72, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 5, 2016. He was born August 7, 1944 in Lancaster to the late Charles and Coral (Kern) Julian. Don retired after 42 years of service with Anchor Hocking. He enjoyed a good round of golf, following Amanda Clearcreek football, loved family times and good food around the table.
âMr. Julianâ is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tonya (Byrne) Julian; daughter, Jody (Jim) Altman; sons, Dustin (Kara) Brown and Aaron Brown; grandchildren, Kasey, Daniel, Olivia, Taylor, Jadyn, Shayde, Mercer, and the sunshine of his life, McKenzie; sister, Charlene (Bill) Geraghty; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Julian and Tinker (Scott) Allums; brothers, Ed (Carren) Julian, and Keith (Marlene) Julian; and special friends, Therese and Mike Pridemore; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother Gary Julian.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Chaplain Karl Hartmann officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
