Dorothy "Dot" Cordle

Dorothy M. “Dot” Cordle, 73, of Amanda, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her sister’s home in Thurston, Ohio.  She was born December 21, 1944 in Baltimore, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Betty (Adams) Camp.  Dot was retired from RCA after 30 years of service, a member of Lancaster Moose #955 and was an avid Euchre player.  She also worked as a cashier at Walmart and Oakland Grocery
She is survived by her children, Terry Kohler of Circleville, Yancy (Debra) Cordle of Amanda and Brandi (Tim) Guffey of Laurelville; five grandchildren, Kelsey Kohler, Brady Cordle, Christopher Hamlin, Alexis and Abby Guffey; brothers and sisters, Jean Kilbarger of Canal Fulton, Kay Baker of Thurston, June Camp of Baltimore, Jim (Tammy) Camp of Kirkersville, Jeff Camp of Baltimore and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Denver Camp.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Liz Tietz officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
