Dwight Presler Sr.

Dwight E. Presler Sr., age 72, of Ashville, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born January 9, 1951, in Circleville, the son of the late Merle and Lois (Riegel) Presler. He was a graduate of Teays Valley High School, class of 1969. He owned and operated Presler Farms and Trucking, along with his brothers. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida. He attended Cedar Hill Community Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Dwight (Dawn) Presler Jr., of Chillicothe and Kevin Presler, of Ashville; grandchildren, Sierra (Steven) Dove, of Chillicothe and Gracie Presler, of Florida; several great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce and Wendel Presler, both of Ashville. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jacob Dwight Edwin Presler.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda with Bill Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
