Elizabeth E. Bowman

Elizabeth "Buffy" Bowman, age 64, of Amanda, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her home. She was born on April 13, 1962, in Chillicothe, to the late Jerry and Jeri (French) Smith. She was a graduate of Circleville High School, class of 1980. She volunteered at the Pickaway Senior Center where she taught line dancing to the seniors for over a decade. She also enjoying canoeing and kayaking with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mark; her daughters, Katie (Josh Bester) Bowman, of Richmondale and Maggie (Eric) Eskins, of Bremen; one granddaughter, Lacey Moore; brother, Brent (Nancy) Smith, of Logan. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the family's farm. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.

In lieu of flowers, Buffy's family asks that you bring a special rock and a covered dish to the celebration of her life.
