Francis Earl Seitz

Francis E. Seitz, 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015.  He was born June 3, 1930 in Amanda and was the son of Ira and Grace (Conway) Seitz.  Francis was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was retired from Anchor Hocking and delivered for NAPA Auto Parts.  Francis was also a member of Faith Memorial Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Zelda (Courtney) Seitz; children, Melody Marie Porter of Lancaster, Francis E. “Bud” Seitz Jr. of Sugar Grove and Beverly (Carl “Rusty”) Poston of Lancaster; several grandchildren, great grand children and one great great grandson; brother, Don (Sally) Seitz and a sister, Mary (Ray) McNabb both of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma Jean Seitz and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Sue Seitz.
Cremation has been handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at New Life Church, 2642 Columbus-Lancaster Rd., Lancaster, Ohio with Rev. Melvin Truex officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
