Herman E. Kull

Herman Ellis Kull, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family.  He was born on November 6, 1926 in Fairfield County to the late Frank and Mildred (Boerstler) Kull.  Herman was a member of Faith Memorial Church and 1944 graduate of Amanda High School. He was a lifelong farmer and retired from DuPont with over 31 years of service.
Herman is survived by his children, Sonia (Michael) Stoneburner of Lancaster; Dennis Kull, Scott (Sandy) Kull and Kelly (Heather Poston) Kull all of Amanda; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren;  2 step great grandchildren; sister Gwendolyn Hoplite of Amanda; as well as 2 nieces and numerous friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Norris) Kull; two daughters, Pamela and Sue Kull; and daughter-in-law, Gayla Kull
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 20, 2106 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Melvin Truex officiating.  Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
