Ida M. Artrip

Ida Mae Artrip, age 80 of Circleville passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at OSU Hospital in Columbus. She was born August 30, 1940 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Jesse and Maragaret (Beckler) Johnson. Ida was a member of the Free Holiness Mission Church in Chillicothe. She enjoyed to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach and Florida. She loved being together for family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arthur A. Artrip; 4 daughters, Virginia (Sanford) Edler, Debra Bourcier, and Ann (Philip) Cook, all of Circleville, and Lisa (Malcolm) Leasure, of Chillcothe; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, John Johnson, of Gallipolis; sister, Barbara Bosworth, of St. Petersburg, Florida; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda, with Pastor Stanley Kennedy officiating. Ida’s service can also be viewed live at the funeral home’s Facebook page. Interment will follow at Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
