James E. Iles

 James E. Iles, age 77, of Baltimore, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at his home. He was born February 1, 1945, in Columbus, the son of the late Floyd and Mable (Blosser) Iles. He was a graduate of Eastmoor High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the City of Columbus, Maintenance with 33 years of service. He was a member of the Three Nails to Freedom Motorcycle Club and was also active with the Lancaster-Fairfield County Charity Newsies. He was an active member of the Earth Angels Foundation. He was most recently a member of LifeBridge Church in Baltimore.
 He is survived by his children, Kevin (Ginger) Iles, of Bremen and Scott (Katie) Iles, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shaelyn (Brian) Hill, of Oakland, Jeffery (Chasity) Iles, of Lancaster, Kathryn Iles, of Bremen, Jarren Iles, of Amanda, Chuck Sheline, of Lancaster and Shelby Sheline, of Bremen; eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karla; son, Jeff; and grandson, Jordan.
 Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Revs. Dave Perkins, Don Deuschle, and Wayne Dozier officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
