James E. Lowe

James E. Lowe Jr., 63, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center.  He was born January 20, 1951 in Columbus and was the son of the late James E. and Elizabeth (Hutchinson) Lowe Sr.  Jim was an independent truck driver and loved playing basketball and participating in the A-C Alumni Tournaments.  He loved his family and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his children, Tracy (Sean) Peoples and James Michael Lowe both of Chillicothe and Phillip Lowe of Lancaster; granchildren, Michael Conrad of Amanda and Emily Lowe of Logan; sister, Deborah (Mowry) Young of Canfield; brothers, Steve (Diane) Lowe of Amanda, Don Lowe and Jack (Patti) Lowe both of Lancaster, Wendy Lowe of Columbus and John (Tracy) Lowe of Florida.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Lowe.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsburg.  Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
