Bob Notestone, age 61, of Amanda, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born December 30, 1961, in Logan, the son of the late Jim Bob Notestone, from Laurelville and Judy (Young) Cain, from Adelphi. He was a graduate of Logan Elm High School, class of 1980. He was employed by the Fairfield County Road Department (HDIC) for the past 12 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local #284. Bob loved following all of his girls to rodeos, fishing, time spent with friends and most of all, his family. He was the king of the one-liners. Bob was selfless, hardworking, and was happiest doing for and providing for others.

He is survived by his wife, Beth (Baldwin) Notestone; children, Kayla (Ron) Diles, of Amanda, and Cody (Sherika) Notestone, of Circleville; his mother, Judy; grandchildren, Peyton, Brylee, Brice, Bryer, Jagger, and Willow; brothers, Dave (Robin) Notestone and Bret (Terri) Notestone, both of Laurelville; mother-in-law, Bev (John Scott) Baldwin, of Amanda; several brothers and sisters in-law; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Joe Baldwin; brother-in-law, Emmer Baldwin; nephew, Jason Pugh; and stepfather, Ron Cain.

At his request, cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at the convenience of his family at Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. A public celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Friends may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
