Janet R. Hedges, 73, formerly of Amanda, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Crestview Manor in Lancaster. She was born on February 27, 1944 in Eagle Mills, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Ora (Schwalbaugh) Tatman. She previously attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Janet is survived by her children Carla (Dave) Walls and Joe (Shawana Mitchell) all of Circleville; grandchildren, Amanda Wisenbarger, Anthony (Jennifer) Hedges, Jeremy (fiancé Tricia) Hedges, and Kendall Hedges; brothers, Kenny (Freddie) Tatman of Amanda, and Ray (Rita) Tatman of Adelphi; sisters, Sally (Henry) Parker and Audrey Brown both of Circleville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hedges; five brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. Burial to follow in Tarlton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 260, Columbus, OH 43231, or Alzheimer’s Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215 in Janet’s memory.
