Jeanette Corena Howell

Jeanette C. Howell, 83 of Amanda, passed away at her home on Monday, March 23, 2020.  She was born March 23, 1937 in Elk Valley, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elsie (Lay) Douglas.  She attended Open Door Freewill Baptist Church. 

            She is survived by a sister, Jean Slone of Christopher, Illinois; nieces, Linda (Danny) Murray of Sidney, Ohio, Sandy (Kent) Crnokrak of St. Louis, Missouri and Tracey Lynn Slone of Christopher, Illinois; nephew, Sam (Karen) Douglas of Elk Valley, Tennessee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Howell; daughter, Kristy Brubaker and a brother, Drew Douglas.

            A private grave side service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.
