Jeffrey Brian Schaar

Jeffrey B. Schaar, 57, of Stoutsville passed away on September 25, 2026 at Grant Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born on May 19, 1969 in Dover, OH to Linda and Doyle Schaar. He was a people person who never knew a stranger. Jeff worked many jobs including fixing engines at Atwood Lake Marina and ultimately became a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with multiple companies most recently with Company Wrench. Over his 20 years as a mechanic he made tons of friends on job sites all across the country. He was born a protector always watching over his family and friends; and was a hard-working provider. Jeff was a huge history buff and always enjoyed guns, beer, and rock n roll.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Eugene Argento; son, Gaelan F. Schaar; grandparents Clara (Melton) and Gale L. Arnold.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tami Schaar; daughter, Oliva (Drew) Mackintosh; son, Kevin Perfetti; brother, Todd (Melissa) Schaar; sister, Tracie Brent; grandchildren, Piper and Paul, Mariana Jae; nieces and nephews, Michael, Chance, Malia Schaar; Noah, Evan, Gracie Brent; and lifelong friends, Andy and Annette Palmer.

According to his wishes no services will be held. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
