Jessie Naomi Rose, 95, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born May 25, 1922 in Columbus and was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Icenogle) Moore. Jessie was a member of Eastland Christian Church.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Diane) Rose and Doris Castaneda both of Columbus; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Rose; son, James Rose and brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Ethan McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.
