John W. Buckler

   John W. Buckler, age 73 of Amanda, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Woody and Jane (Cantrill) Buckler. He was a lifelong carpenter who would do anything for you and could build anything. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.

   He is survived by his wife of 27 years, June (Welch) Buckler; children, Jonathan Buckler, of Amanda, Steven (Kristina) Lowery, of Crown City, Peach (James) Haynes, of Amanda; grandchildren, Aaron Cain, Steven (Brooke) Lowery II, Scott (Kristi) Lowery, and Stephanie Haynes; great grandchildren, Nash Cain and Landon Lowery; brothers, Kenny and Steve Buckler; sisters, Sue Buckler and Brenda (Jimmy) Blanton; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

   A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville with Pastor Jeb Cain officiating. Arrangements are in care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
