John Edward Patterson

John E. Patterson, age 46 of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1975 in Lancaster, the son of John C. Patterson Jr and the late Pamela Paskins. John was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. He worked with his brother, Travis for many years as a painter. John was a private man who loved movies, music and video games. Most importantly, John was a Christian.

He is survived by his father, John C. Patterson Jr., of Lancaster; brothers, Travis and Andrew Patterson, both of Lancaster; nephews, Preston and Jayden Patterson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta (Stumbo) Patterson.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 West Main St., Amanda. Cremation will follow the visitation. There will be no formal service observed.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
