Joshua W. Lewis

Joshua W. Lewis, 28, of Rushville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Grant Medical Center.  He was born September 11, 1988 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico.  Joshua was a 2007 graduate of Lancaster High School and a member of Hedges Chapel Church in Ashville.
He is survived by his sons, Brayden and Kyler Lewis; mother, Jolene (Dave) Marcum of Amanda; father, Jeff (Dawn) Lewis of Lancaster; brothers and sisters, Eddie (Chelsea) Eismon, Heather (Josh) Graley, Clay (Helen) Mills, Cole (Jezamyn) Mills, Annmarie Marcum, Maycie Reed; grandparents, Homer (Linda) Lewis, Tom (Betty) Harber, Millie Kern, Phil (Judy) Dingus and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Lewis.
Joshua was an organ donor and through his death he was able to give others life.  A cremation has been handled with care and a memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday June 20, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Jeremy Hurd officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
