Joyce Ann Peters

Joyce Ann Peters, 76, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, December 12, 2016. She was born  May 6, 1940 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late Margaret (Harmon) Wears and Henry Buzzard. Joyce was a member of Hopewell U.M. Church.
She is survive by her children, Jerry (Kathy) Peters, Jr. of New Lexington, Anthony (Sheila) Peters of Lancaster, Teresa (Gerry Riley) Keyser of Canal Winchester, Margaret (Donald) Horton of Canal Winchester, David (Bonnie) Peters of New Lexington, and Roger (Cheryl) Peters of Lancaster; 20 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen Crabtree and Leonard (Ida) Wears both of Florida. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Peters Sr.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Tim Lehman officiating. Burial to follow at Mulenberg Twp. Cemetery in Darbyville, Ohio. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
