Julie Hoy

Julie Hoy, age 46 of Amanda, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. She was born November 7, 1977, in Circleville, to the late Ben and Jerri Vause. She was a longtime employee at Wilsonart in Columbus. Julie loved dogs and the stray cats around her house that she enjoyed feeding. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as often as she could, even while fighting her illness.

She is survived by her step-children, Doug (Rachel) Hoy, of Lancaster and Tyler (Megan Morrison) Hoy, of Amanda; step-grandchildren, Liam, Briar, and Oaklee Hoy; brother, Matthew Vause; sister, Jody Vause; several nieces and nephews.

At her request, a private celebration of her life will be conducted by her family. Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral & Cremation Service, Amanda.
