Kathleen "Kate" (Cordle) Stoneburner, 86, of Amanda peacefully left this earth on Friday, October 22, 2021, and entered into the presence of Jesus, her Savior. Kate was born on April 17, 1935 in Clearport, daughter of Isaac and Lottie (Boggs) Cordle. She graduated from Amanda High School, class of 1953. That year she married the love of her life, Glen Stoneburner. They were married 61 years. Kate loved to read, cook and take care of her family. She was the best mother, grandmother, great grandma, and great great grandma. She will be dearly missed.
Kate is survived by her children, Carol (Mike) McFarland, Mike (Sonia) Stoneburner, and June Love; grandchildren, Shad (Stacy) McFarland, Shannon (Val) McFarland, and Matthew (Nicole) McFarland, Alesha (Joe) Risch, Layla Stoneburner, Jessica (Justin) Lehner, Erik (Ashlee) Love; great grandchildren, Tyler (Ally) McFarland, Taylor (Jacob) Hardwick, Shelby (Carl) Kubalak, Alli and Karlee McFarland, Olivia (Mason) Riffle and Riley Riffle, Gavin Meadows, Ethan and Carson Love, S.J. and Gunner McFarland, Izzy Kleinline, Bray and Taryn Parker, Kodi and Koewynn Rogue; great great grandchildren, Jaxen McFarland, Emrie and Aven McFarland, Loretta Kubalak, and Logan Hardwick; sisters, Elizabeth Campbell, Sue Blackston, and Delores Rumer; many nieces and nephews; a special person to her, Josh Meadows. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Stoneburner; infant son, Joseph; sisters, Carrie Campbell and Sybil Flowers; brothers, Clarence, Chuck and John Cordle; nephews, Gary, Randy, Rick and Brian Cordle, and Noah Porter; niece, Karen Cordle.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda with Pastor Chris Hildenbrand officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Promedica-Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd., Suite B, Circleville, OH 43113 or the Salvation Army of Fairfield County, 228 W. Hubert Ave., Lancaster, OH 43130.
