Kelly Dawn Griffey

Kelly D. Griffey, age 43 of Stoutsville, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born June 24, 1978 in Columbus, the daughter of Ronald Christian, of Columbus and Sherri (Jordan) Christian, of Amanda. Kelly was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and Eastland Vocation School. Kelly had a big, big heart and was a wonderful childcare provider to many children in the area. She has taken many children into her home over the years to help raise them.

She is survived by her parents; husband, Clarence; daughter, Hannah Griffey, of the home; brother, Ronald Christian, of Amanda; sisters, Amy Christian, of Amanda, Danielle Warner, of Lancaster and Tia Christian; step-father, Randy Francis, of Amanda; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. She is preceded death by her son, Devin Griffey and sisters, Nikki, Jackie, and Kimberly Christian.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home. At her request, no formal service will be observed. Cremation will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
