Lloyd Keith Welch, 79, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Pickering House. He was born February 17, 1936 in Lancaster and was the son of the late Curtis and Florence (Valentine) Welch. Lloyd was a former drywall finisher and a social member of VFW Post #1380 in Lancaster.
He is survived by two sons, Lloyd Keith Welch Jr. of Grove City and Jeffrey Allen (Michelle) Welch of Greensburg, Indiana; two daughters, Sheila (Paul) Hicks of Lancaster and Pamela (Rick) Bundren of Greensburg, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; brother, Russell (Terry) Welch of Whitehall; sisters, Sarah Krouse of Carroll, Marie (Carl) Krouse of Delaware, Mary Jane Smith of Lockbourne and Elva Miller of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, great grandson, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Lloyd will be greatly missed by his family and friends and his love will forever be in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Deacon Ike Wampler officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
