Mae Evelyn Woodward

Mae Evelyn (Luck) Woodward, age 87 of Amanda, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born August 23, 1934, in Clearport, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edwin G. and Lucille (Warner) Luck. She attended Pleasant Hill Community Church in Laurelville. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and always provided wise advice for her family. Mae was a loving mother, grandma and great grandma who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Steven) Hayes and Dennis (Lisa) Woodward, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Kendra (Ryan) Stickel, of Delaware, Felicia Woodward, of Lancaster and Jeremy (Sunny) Hayes, of Columbus; two step grandchildren, Kaylie and Kevin Carpenter, of Gahanna; great grandchildren, Rose Evelyn, Iris and Dyson; brother, David (Marie) Luck; sisters in law, Mary Graybill, Kay Luck and Judy Luck; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, John Henry Woodward; brothers, Frank "Sonny" Luck, Carl "Bill" Luck and Richard Luck; brothers in law, Jacob Woodward, Robert Graybill and Billy Johnston; sisters in law, Louise "Addie" Johnston, Opal Woodward, Jenny Woodward and Betty Luck.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, with Pastor Jim Wine officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
