Mark F. King "Kingy", age 57, of Amanda, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1967, in Circleville, to the late Lee King and Jo Ann (Dresbach) King, who survives, of Tarlton. He was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek, class of 1985. Mark loved to golf, hunt and fish. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He had a great sense of humor and was sometimes a little stubborn. He was a great friend to many, especially in the group of "Y" friends.
He is survived by his mother; daughter Daija King, of Ashville; grandchildren, Izmaila and Trey; sisters, Tanya (Kenny) Kitchen, of Amanda and Lisa (Tony) Garrett, of Adelphi; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin, Troy Miller; special friends, Tracy and Patti Sharp. He is preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024 with funeral services to follow immediately at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. To honor Mark, friends and family are strongly encouraged to wear their favorite Cincinnati Reds gear. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery.
