Mary V. Allen, 89, of Amanda, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on October 12, 1926 in Long Beach, California and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elsie (Harper) Camden.
Mary had attended Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster.
She is survived by her sons, Jed Allen and Tim (Paula) Allen both of Amanda; grandchildren, Christina (Derrick Hill) Shaffer, Timmy (Beth) Allen Jr. and Christopher Allen; great grandchildren, Allyson, Gabriel, Zander, Vance and Mishaela Hill and Alissa Allen; sister, Latie Ross of Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Allen and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Melvin Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery.
