Mary F. Bresler

Mary F. Bresler, age 78 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1941 in Fairfield County, daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Dennison) Ety. Mary was a 1960 graduate of Pleasantville High School. She worked in banking for over 50 years and was retired from Fairfield Federal in 2016 where she had a lot of close friends that she worked with. She was a very loving mother and she loved her grandchildren very much. Mary would do anything for anyone and was huge Amanda Clearcreek and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She didn’t dare miss her favorite soap, “One Life to Live” and never missed one of her son’s auctions.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie and her parents.

Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Amanda Township Cemetery with Pastor Brian Dillahunt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church, 220 North Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130.

The graveside service may also be viewed live at the funeral home’s Facebook page.

We want to express our deepest, most heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Mary. She was a great lady and will be sorely missed. Have been missing her at church. I know Judy brought her the Sunday before they left for Florida. Have known the Bresler family for a long time. She is without pain now and resting.

I worked with Mary for many years. I was in the loan department so we did not work side by side. We had lunch in the lunch room together many times
and she was always fun to talk to. She hemmed skirts and pants for me. She was always smiling and said funny things. Of course, none of us will everforget the famous "Birthday Party". My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mary was always a smiling face at Fairfield Federal...she worked with my father, Jim Claar, and they and all the Fairfield Federal family took great care of folks in this community. There will be a FF reunion in heaven, for sure.
We send prayers of comfort to Marys family.
