Mary F. Bresler

December 18, 1941 — December 14, 2020

Mary F. Bresler, age 78 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1941 in Fairfield County, daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Dennison) Ety. Mary was a 1960 graduate of Pleasantville High School. She worked in banking for over 50 years and was retired from Fairfield Federal in 2016 where she had a lot of close friends that she worked with. She was a very loving mother and she loved her grandchildren very much. Mary would do anything for anyone and was huge Amanda Clearcreek and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She didn’t dare miss her favorite soap, “One Life to Live” and never missed one of her son’s auctions.

   She is survived by her son, Greg (Regina) Bresler, of Lancaster; grandsons, Brandon (Kesly Measles) Bresler, of Dayton and Dustin (Sebrina Hershberger) Bresler, of Lancaster; sister, Evelyn (Tom) Mertz, of Lancaster; brother, Roger Ety, of Thurston; several nieces and nephews including embraced family members, Samantha, Alexis, and Emma Butterbaugh, Josh, Abbi, Megan, and Morgan Ebbrecht; special friends, Charlotte Cronin, Linda Petty, and Judy Root; all of her bank “cronies”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie and her parents.

   Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Amanda Township Cemetery with Pastor Brian Dillahunt officiating.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church, 220 North Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130.

   The graveside service may also be viewed live at the funeral home’s Facebook page.

   In accordance with State mandates, COVID Protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
