M. Arlene Hiles

M. Arlene Hiles, age 82 of Amanda, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at Crestview Manor in Lancaster. She was born July 15, 1939, in Buchtel, the daughter of the late John F. and Enid L. (Robson) Savage. Arlene was a 1957 graduate of Nelsonville York High School. She retired from the Cafeteria Food Service Co. at Lucent Technologies. She was a member of the USS Casa Grande LSD - 13 Reunion Association and she had traveled extensively with her husband as they operated the Mason Mobile Military Museum. Arlene loved riding on the back and in the side car of each of the motorcycles she and her husband, Ron traveled on.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ronald R. Hiles; children, Jake (Share Lynn Bennett) Hiles, of Morgantown, WV and Marty (Linda) Hiles, of Lancaster; sister, Mickey (John) Tigner, of Newark; brother, Jim (Bev) Savage, of Zanesville; many nieces and nephews; "grand-dog', Bobo and Jake and Share Lynn's cats.

Cremation has been arranged in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral & Cremation Service, Amanda. At her request, no formal services will be observed.
