Maxine Samuels

Maxine Samuels, 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.  She was born on June 13, 1930 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Donald and Blanche (Taylor) McIntyre.  Maxine was a graduate of Chagrin Falls High School and also a graduate of Bowling Green State University.  She had worked in both the Warren City and Niles City School System.
She is survived by two daughters, Joan (Ben) Hedrick of Amanda and Tracy Samuels of Columbus; grandchildren, Steve (Jeannie) Bohlman, Brian Bohlman and Christy Bohlman; step grandchild, Haley Hedrick and a great granddaughter, Claudia Bohlman.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Samuels on May 22, 2013.
A grave side service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp.
The Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda is handling the arrangements.
