Melony R. Stuteville, age 56, passed away July 11, 2016 at her residence in Elida, Ohio. She was born on December 25, 1959 in Lancaster to Randall and Hazel (Hines) Merritt, Sr. Melony was a former employee of Lancaster Glass for over 11 years.
She is survived by her husband James Stuteville; children, Penny (Rodney Hoey) Shaeffer, Randy (Tiffani) Shaeffer, Jr., Holly (Jason) Davis, and Laura (Jeremy) Thompson; grandchildren, Keshia, Tristen, Dakota, Austin, Jevin, Alexas, Jayden, Owen, Kayla, Anna, and Wyatt; father, Randall Merritt, Sr.; and brother Randall Merritt, Jr.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother, Gregory Merritt; sister, Diane Hall, and the father of her children, Randy Shaeffer, Sr.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Dave Sherman officiating. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster. Friends may call Friday, 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
