Michael Perry Foster, 35, of Logan, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2016. He was born August 13, 1981 in Montgomery, West Virginia and is the son of Ronald and Erma (Kelly) Foster who survives. Michael formerly worked in the coal mines in West Virginia following in the footsteps of his father. He was employed by the Shelly Company in Grove City as an underground mining supervisor where he worked side by side with his brothers Jeff and Ron.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons and his whole world, Brandon, Levi and Garrett Foster; brothers and sister, Greg Kelly of Logan, Ronald (Kim) Foster Jr. of Stoutsville, Jennifer Foster (Joseph Huff) from Elkview, West Virginia and Jeff (Christina) Foster of Stoutsville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Randy Dollison officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
