During the Blizzard of '78 Mike rescued my husband and I and our one month old baby from a very drafty farmhouse on Drinkle Road. We had lost power and our only source of heat was the propane stove and oven. He drove us to his parent's house a couple of roads over that had electricity. He rescued many other neighbors that day. We all stayed at his parent's home for quite a few days while the men worked to clear the roads of fallen trees. We will never forget it - he was a great guy and will be missed by many.
