Michael D. Myers, 67, of Kingston. Formerly of Amanda, he was born November 10, 1948 and was the son of the late Denzel and Mildred (Spung) Myers. Mike was a 1968 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, retired from the City of Lancaster Water Department and attended the Amanda United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Michael D. “Chip†(Felicia) Myers II and Robert Lee (Jessica) Myers both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Hazel Marie, Kenzey Quinn and Henry Lee Myers; sisters, Carolyn Jean Stedman and brother, Randolph Lee “Zeke†Myers both of Kingston and his former wife, Jackie Myers of Stoutsville.
Cremation has been handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda. The family would like contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 471 E. Broad St., #1630, Columbus, OH 43215 in Mike’s memory.
