Michael “Mike” Stiffler, age 83 of Amanda, and formerly of Columbus, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at his home. He was born May 22, 1939, in Columbus, the son of the late Charles and Mozelle (Mathys) Stiffler. He retired from Smith Dairy in 2004 after working over 40 years as a milk man in the dairy delivery business. Mike enjoyed fishing and camping and his travel trailer for many years. He was a NASCAR fan and loved any Ford on the track. He also loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his children, Lisa (Dennis) Woodward, of Lancaster, Michael L. Stiffler Jr., of Gahanna, Dee Dee (Rich) Dilley, of TN, Jackie Lowry, of Cincinnati, Vernon (Jeanie) Lowry, of Columbus, and Jack Lowry, of Columbus; grandchildren, Kaylie and Kevin Carpenter, and Michael L. Stiffler III; great granddaughter, Trinity Harmon; sister, Anne (Jim) Miller, of Columbus; brother, Jeffrey (Carol) Stiffler, of Pataskala; special nephew, Charles (Lora) Stiffler, of Mt. Gilead; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; spouses, Shirley Stiffler and Betty Stiffler; four brothers; two sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda with Pastor Jim Wine officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
