Mona M. Berry

Mona M. Berry, age 81 of Carroll passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Country Lane Gardens in Thornville. She was born October 8, 1940, in Black Fork, Ohio, the daughter of the late Sherman and Olive (Evans) Queen. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School where she was Valedictorian of the class of 1958. Mona loved attending Mt. Calvary Church of God in Lancaster (Outlook Church) and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John W. Berry; children, Neva Baumgartner, of Heath, Kim (Wayne) Harshbarger, of Lancaster, Kendra (Jeff) Collins, of Lancaster, and Kellie (Rocky) Counts, of Lancaster; foster son, Rick (Jeannette) Shafer, of Columbus; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; close family friend, Richard Winkler, of Lancaster. She is preceded in death by her parents.

At her request, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
